Ne-Yo Explains Why His Girlfriends Are Not Allowed to Date Other Men
Music star Ne-Yo is in a relationship with four women, but he has made it clear that they are not allowed to date other men.
After showing the world his partners Cristina, Arielle, Moneii, and Bri, Ne-Yo has now explained why he is the only one in the relationship who is free to see other people.
During a talk on “The Angie Martinez Show,” the singer said he did not force any of the women to be with only him. Instead, he said they made that choice themselves.
He told them from the beginning that he would not be exclusive to them, and they accepted it.
The women chose to stay with only him, and he says that was their own decision.
Ne-Yo, whose full name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, said the most important part of the relationship is being honest.
He wants everything to be open and clear. He said he does not lie to his partners and does not make promises he cannot keep.
He also said that if any of the women feel unhappy, they are free to leave.
He is not keeping anyone against their will and he does not want to control anyone.
Ne-Yo, who is a father to seven children, shared that his polyamorous lifestyle was not something he planned.
He was already dating the four women separately and later decided to bring them together.
He told them the truth about his intentions and gave them the chance to walk away. However, they all decided to stay.
He said he is not trying to trick anyone. Everyone involved understands the kind of relationship they are in, and that is how he wants it to be.
