New Miss Uganda Elle Trivia Muhoza Vows Action Against Violence Toward Women

Elle Trivia Muhoza has claimed the title of Miss Uganda 2025/2026, succeeding Natasha Nyonyozi.

The coronation took place on Saturday, September 20, at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel in a night filled with glamour and excitement.

The 22-year-old from Bukomansimbi now prepares to represent Uganda at the prestigious Miss World pageant.

Speaking to Daily Soup after her win, Elle admitted the victory was a surprise but expressed gratitude.

I was not expecting it, but God is good. I just want to thank God.

The new queen highlighted her commitment to women’s empowerment, promising to use her platform to make a difference.

I am so happy to be the winner of Miss Uganda 2025/26. I want to empower women out there who are suffering unknowingly. Creating awareness about all the violence, and I cannot wait to do this thing with everyone in Uganda.

She also stressed that she intends to let her actions speak louder than her words.

Promising people is not good when you have not taken action. I want people to see my actions and see that I am going to make sure I make Ugandans proud.

With a focus on advocacy and empowerment, Elle Trivia Muhoza is set to bring new energy to the Miss Uganda platform.
