Next Radio Turns Its Top 106 Countdown Into a Full-Day Radio Experience
Next Radio 106.1 FM is turning its annual year end countdown into an all day event.
From December 29 to 31, the station will roll out its Top 106 Songs Countdown, spreading the list across its biggest shows rather than airing it as a single block.
Listeners can expect the countdown to run through The Morning Switch, The Brunch, The Chillout, and The Tranzit, with each show setting aside its final hour to play ten of the year’s biggest songs.
The format allows fans to tune in at different times and still be part of the countdown experience.
As anticipation builds toward the Top 10, Next Radio will also spotlight six bonus tracks.
These songs complete the full list of 106 and represent hits that just missed out on the Top 100.
With the year coming to an end, the station is inviting listeners to stay locked in across all shows and take part in conversations around the songs that shaped the year.
