Nigerian Music Legend Says Hits Come From Talent, Not Alcohol or Smoking
Nigerian veteran musician Bright Chimezie has put to rest the idea that alcohol or smoking sparks creativity.
The “Because English” hitmaker told the CreativTea Podcast that artistes who smoke or drink are simply having fun, not boosting their music.
He stressed that relying on substances does nothing for inspiration.
Chimezie explained that true musical ideas come naturally, flowing from talent and experience rather than from what an artiste consumes.
For him, the belief that creativity needs a drink or smoking is simply false.
