Nina Roz Claims Harassment Before Being Ordered Out of Event
Ugandan singer Nina Roz, real name Nina Kakunda, has spoken out after a viral clip showed her being ordered out of an event.
Currently contesting for Ssembabule District Woman MP on the NUP ticket, Nina Roz said she had been officially invited.
According to her, the drama started when someone allegedly touched her inappropriately while she was seated.
She said that moments later, an elderly man she identified as Kabaganda confronted her and ordered her to leave.
I was officially invited to attend the event. While I was seated, someone started touching me inappropriately. Later, an elderly man identified as Kabaganda came in front of me and ordered me to leave. A lot happened behind the camera. My team members were beaten for no reason at all.
Despite the ordeal, Nina Roz said she remains determined to continue with her campaigns.
I have gone through a lot ever since we started these campaigns, but I remain strong and confident. I believe the Woman MP seat is coming home with me.
She also thanked her father for supporting her and pledged to serve the people of Ssembabule District diligently if elected.
