Nina Roz on Why She Is Eyeing Political Office: “There Is Life After Music”
Beloved Ugandan songstress Nina Roz has long captured hearts with her music, but now she has her sights set on something bigger: a seat in Parliament in 2026.
In a recent media interview, Nina opened up about her bold pivot from stardom to public service.
“There is life after music. Life does not stop at being an artiste. Everyone must have a purpose in life. One needs to have something that drives them beyond music. Music is a path one chooses to embark on. However, serving people is a calling,” she said.
When asked if she meets the academic qualifications for a parliamentary seat, she did not stammer.
“I am currently at the International University of East Africa. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Marketing, and I will be finishing next year,” she revealed.
With one foot in the lecture hall and the other on the campaign trail, Nina Roz seems ready to remix her legacy, this time in the halls of Parliament.
