Nina Roz Says She Will Return ‘A Better Politician’ After Loss

Artiste turned politician Nina Roz (real name Nina Kankunda) has lost her first elective political battle after falling short in the Ssembabule District Woman MP race.

The NUP flag bearer was defeated by NRM’s Florence Nambazira, despite an energetic run for the seat.

Throughout the campaign season, Nina Roz faced the kind of tough pressure that comes with the political game, from intense competition to the heavy demands of winning over voters in a heated race.

However, even in defeat, Nina appears far from broken.

Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, the singer made it clear that she has no regrets about stepping into politics.

She described the journey as a learning experience that has strengthened her and prepared her for an even better comeback.

According to Nina, the challenges she faced have only built her into a stronger woman and future leader.

She believes she will return more prepared to represent her people while staying true to her purpose.

I do not regret joining politics. From some of the books I have read, I learned that success does not come easily. I am writing my own story and I am so grateful for every challenge. Actually, those challenges have made me stronger to even come back a better politician to represent my people and still be the kind of woman who God called me to be.
