Omega 256 Applauds Jose Chameleone’s Decision to Postpone Concert

Jose Chameleone recently announced that he will not go ahead with his much-anticipated concert, which was originally set for September 5 at Kololo Independence Grounds.

The legendary singer explained that his decision was made out of respect for fellow Ugandan artiste Fik Fameica, whose own concert is scheduled for the same day at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

His move has since earned praise from fans and fellow musicians, many viewing it as a rare gesture of humility and solidarity.

Among the first to speak out was Western Uganda-based songstress Omega 256.

In an interview with Galaxy FM, she commended Chameleone for what she described as a thoughtful and selfless move.

First of all, I applaud Chameleone for the decision he made. It is not a light decision.

She also urged fans to stay calm about such scheduling overlaps, adding that date clashes are not new in the music industry.

While Chameleone has yet to announce a new date for his show, his gesture has been widely interpreted as a sign of unity and maturity within Uganda’s music scene.
