Omega 256 Confirms Maiden Concert Will Have No Extra Shows

For many Ugandan artistes, staging extra concerts after a main show has become almost standard practice.

These extra shows, usually held outside Kampala, give fans who missed the main event a chance to be part of the experience.

But for Omega 256, that will not be the case after her maiden concert on September 19 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Speaking to Rewind, she explained why she is not rushing into follow-up shows.

I do not have extras. This is my maiden show, and I am organizing it with my management, so the experience is new to us. We did not want to put ourselves under pressure by taking on too many tasks while we are still learning how to manage event organization.

The “See You Tonight” star admitted that while the idea of extras was tempting, the reality of pulling everything off at once was beyond her current capacity.

We wanted to have extras, but we were not in a position to. We chose to give ourselves time and learn from this show first. With future concerts, we will have some extras.
