Omotola Jalade Says There Is No Bad Blood With Genevieve Nnaji

Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has addressed long standing rumors about her relationship with fellow screen star Genevieve Nnaji.

For years, fans have speculated that the two actresses were no longer close. Many people pointed to the fact that they rarely appear together today.

During the early days of Nollywood, the pair often shared the spotlight and appeared in several projects side by side.

However, Omotola recently spoke about the rumors during an interview with Pulse Nigeria. She dismissed the claims and said there is no bad blood between them.

When the interviewer asked if she and Genevieve are still friends, the actress responded candidly, saying they are on good terms.

Omotola also praised actor Chidi Mokeme during the conversation. She described him as one of her favourite Nollywood actors and highlighted his strong talent both on and off screen.

The award winning actress also said fans created much of the rumored feud. She explained that people often assume rivalry between successful stars, similar to the comparisons fans make between musicians.

“There wasn’t actually any quarrel. People don’t have to be best friends, but we talked. Behind the scenes, we spoke normally,” she said.
