Pallaso Reveals Hays TikTok Awards to Benefit Ugandan Creators

Pallaso recently revealed that he was officially contacted from South Africa, through an East African representative, to introduce TikTok to Uganda.

The singer explained that he was contracted to serve as an influencer. After reaching an agreement, he began promoting TikTok, becoming the first person to introduce the platform to Uganda.

While some doubt his role in bringing TikTok to the country, Pallaso insists this is not worth debating. What matters, he says, is that TikTok is now widely enjoyed by Ugandans.

Pallaso made it clear that his work was not voluntary, as he was compensated for his efforts. He also revealed his ongoing collaboration with TikTok to help regional content creators earn from the platform.

As part of these efforts, TikTok plans to reward creators through the Hays TikTok Awards. According to Pallaso, these awards will be the first in Uganda to offer winners both trophies and monetary prizes.

He explained that Hays Recruitment partnered with TikTok because their success as a household name has been heavily driven by TikTok users.

Pallaso was chosen as the spokesperson and ambassador for the awards, ensuring fairness and transparency in the process.

The awards will feature several categories, starting with the nomination phase, where fans can submit their favorite content creators. This will be followed by the voting phase, culminating in an awards ceremony on February 13th, where winners will be announced and rewarded.

The awards aim to recognize and uplift Ugandan content creators. Pallaso encouraged everyone to participate by following Hays TikTok Awards on social media for updates on nominations and voting.

He concluded by thanking the Hays TikTok Awards for creating this opportunity for Ugandan creators and inspiring the youth to focus on productive activities instead of crime.
