Pastor Bugembe Advises Youth to Think Beyond February 14

As Valentine’s Day approaches, Pastor Wilson Bugembe of The Worship House Nansana has urged Ugandans, especially young women, to stay calm and responsible.

Speaking to the media, the popular gospel artiste and preacher warned that the season often comes with emotional pressure.

He noted that some young people feel pushed to prove love in ways that can lead to early pregnancies, heartbreak, and depression.

Valentine’s Day should not be a day that destroys your future. Young girls and women should not feel pressured to prove love in ways that will affect their lives permanently. Keep calm and value yourself.

Bugembe said social media and peer influence have turned February 14 into a competition, driving many into relationships or decisions they are not ready for.

He emphasized that true love is patient, respectful, and responsible.

He also encouraged anyone feeling lonely or heartbroken to seek comfort in faith rather than rushing into unhealthy relationships.

The pastor revealed that he will hold a special service at The Worship House Nansana on Valentine’s Day, inviting believers to spend the day in prayer and reflection.

As February 14 draws near, his appeal is simple: think beyond the moment.
