Paul Okoye Slams New Artistes for Smoking Weed on Camera During Video Shoots

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, formerly of the famous P Square duo, has criticized upcoming artistes who make a habit of smoking weed on camera while filming their music videos.

Taking to Instagram Stories and writing in Pidgin English, Paul questioned why these artistes feel the need to light up weed during video shoots, sometimes even before the music begins.

He warned that smoking heavily without proper care affects their health and appearance, telling them to at least eat well if they insist on smoking.

Paul pointed out that many of these artistes already look unhealthy.

He made it clear that smoking does not add style or make anyone look cool or fashionable.

Paul highlighted the irony of spending large sums on smoking weed while struggling to afford basic meals like noodles with egg.

This is not the first time Paul has shared blunt advice online.

About a year ago, he posted a humorous take on dealing with internet trolls, suggesting that sometimes it helps to listen to their complaints before blocking them.

Paul remains vocal on social media, offering advice and calling out behaviors he believes harm the music industry’s new generation.
