Penina Breaks Silence on Criticism Surrounding Her Relationship with Dr Bbosa
When Penina Kemigisa introduced her longtime partner, veteran actor and The Ebonies boss Sam Bagenda, famously known as Dr Bbosa, to her parents in August, their relationship drew plenty of attention.
Critics were quick to judge, with much of the talk focusing on their age gap and claims that Dr Bbosa was too old for her.
Despite the loud chatter, Penina remained and remains unbothered.
Speaking to Daily Soup, she stressed that she simply does not have time for such talk.
I do not have time for what people say. I shut out outside noise. The most important thing is me, him, and our God.
Penina added that it is not the past but the present and the future that matter most, urging others to adopt the same mindset.
The longer you live, the more you should learn to let go of the past. Your past is your past. You cannot change your past. Concentrate on your present and your tomorrow.
Addressing those who claim their union will end in tears, Penina challenged their assumed authority over her relationship.
If God has already planned your journey, then what others say or do is irrelevant. People should stop saying things like ‘it will end in tears’ because they are not God. He designed our path together long before we even started making plans.
