Police Have Confirmed the Arrest of Singer Vyroota for Procuring an Abortion
Singer Vyroota, whose real name is Musigazi Abdulaziz, has landed in serious trouble after being arrested on accusations of procuring an abortion.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed the arrest and shared that the case is now under investigation.

Reports suggest Vyroota got a girl pregnant but showed no intention of taking responsibility.
When she informed him about the pregnancy, he allegedly urged her to terminate it.
Feeling overwhelmed, the girl turned to Vyroota’s manager, Walugembe, hoping for positive intervention.
Shockingly, instead of helping, Walugembe reportedly joined Vyroota in pressuring her to go through with the abortion.
At first, the girl stood her ground, refusing to comply. But after relentless persuasion from the two, she eventually gave in.
Her parents, upon discovering what had happened, were heartbroken and wasted no time reporting the incident to the police.
According to Onyango, both Vyroota and his manager are in custody as the police dig deeper into the matter.
