Pretty Banks Says Ugandan Men Are “So Basic”
Asked in a media interview to describe her love life in three words, singer Pretty Banks, born Tusingwire Phionah, needed only one: “Disaster.”
Despite being aware of her beauty, the “Insido” hit-maker revealed that her strong principles often get in the way of finding love.
She went on to share her thoughts on Ugandan men and their approach to matters of the heart.
Ugandan men are so basic. They do not know what to do. They are not romantic enough. They do not know love. They think love is ‘hello, how are you?’ They do not know dates. They do not know.
Still, Pretty Banks remains hopeful, saying there might be men out there who truly understand love, and she just has not met any yet.
