Pretty Nicole Admits Music Career Failed

Under the guidance of producer Tom Lego G of Badman Records, Pretty Nicole ventured into music and released two songs, “Detergent” and “Nsitula.”

Just as many thought she was gaining momentum, she went quiet.

It has now been eight months since her last release.

Speaking to Tawfiq Media, the social media personality admitted that she stepped away from music after feeling it did not work out for her.

I fell off. I tried singing and I failed. I failed in music, but my songs are still there. As a person, I did not fall, but music did not work out for me.

She also opened up about her discomfort with certain aspects of job, especially physical contact from fans during performances.

I do not like being touched. Remember, every job has its own ways… You may have seen videos of me with people, but when men try to touch me, I refuse, and people in the comment section ask why I act proud. But that is just who I am.

Pretty Nicole’s comments come amid ongoing conversations about boundaries during performances, with artistes such as Vinka and Winnie Nwagi previously addressing similar concerns about inappropriate contact from fans on stage.
