Producer Artin Pro Weighs the Idea of Hosting a Concert Despite Not Being a Performer

Last year, some musicians suggested that the celebrated producer Artin Pro, whose real name is Martin Musoke, should host a concert of his own.

While the idea gained some attention, the conversation eventually faded, leaving many to wonder if it was just a passing thought.

Despite not being a performer or featured artiste on the countless tracks he has produced, Artin Pro has revealed that he is still seriously considering the idea.

Speaking in a media interview, he explained that he is taking his time to study the best way to execute the concert, rather than rushing into it out of excitement.

“It will only make sense if we execute it the way we envision it. The time for the concert is coming, and I can assure you that it is not so far from now,” he noted.

When asked how a producer’s concert would work, given that he does not sing, Artin Pro pointed out that such events have taken place worldwide.

He acknowledged, however, that this would be the first of its kind in Uganda.

“Such events have taken place elsewhere, so it is not something unheard of. It might, however, be new in Uganda. In other countries, musicians often travel with their producers and even perform on stage with them,” he said.
