Producer Didi Opens Up on His Rehab Journey and Music Comeback

Renowned sound engineer Abdul Karim Muchwa, popularly known as producer Didi, has opened up about a personal journey of healing during his time in rehab.

Didi spent one and a half years in a rehabilitation center, a period he now describes as a time of rest, recovery, and reflection.

Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, he shared his experience and the reasons that led him to seek help.

I decided to go for rehabilitation because I was extremely exhausted and needed time to rest and recover. While I was there, I met singer Geosteady, who had also joined the program. We had great moments together, and Geosteady was like the ‘Minister of Enjoyment’ always keeping the mood lively and motivating everyone to stay positive during our recovery process.

For Didi, the rehab period was a time to heal both body and mind while also rediscovering who he is.

He expressed gratitude to those who supported him through the process.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who visited us and those who sent their prayers and support. I also want to clarify something to the public: people who have been in rehabilitation should not be stigmatized. We are proud of taking steps to heal and become better versions of ourselves.

Best known for producing chart-toppers like “Stamina” and “Super Power” by Eddy Kenzo, as well as hits for Coco Finger, Producer Didi is back and more determined than ever to conquer the music scene.

He teased big plans to drop new music soon, promising to turn his personal journey of recovery into a powerful story of hope and inspiration.
