Reign Vows to Fix Lubaga South Without Quitting Comedy

Obed Lubega, known as Reign from the comedy duo Maulana & Reign, has revealed that although he is now focusing on contesting for the Lubaga South Parliamentary seat in 2026, he has no intention of quitting comedy.

Speaking during an interview with Sanyuka TV, he emphasized that even if he succeeds in his parliamentary bid, comedy will continue to be a part of his life.

Reign went on to clarify that his decision to enter politics was not made overnight, stressing that it was a thoughtful and deliberate move.

Drawing from his background, he explained that as a professional teacher who has been in leadership for quite some time, his interest in politics stems from a desire to serve people on a bigger platform.

He added that after observing poor representation and various challenges in his constituency, he is now determined to bring about positive change.
