Rema Achieves Historic Billboard Run With “Rave & Roses”

Nigerian star Rema has reached a major milestone on the US Billboard charts, setting a new standard for African music.

His debut project “Rave & Roses” is now the longest charting African album or EP on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

The project has spent 165 weeks on the chart, moving past “Made In Lagos” by Wizkid, which previously held the record at 164 weeks.

The achievement highlights the strong staying power of Rema’s music.

What started as a debut release has grown into a landmark project with long term impact well beyond Africa.

A big part of the album’s success comes from its global reach.

Songs like “Calm Down” helped introduce Afrobeats to new audiences and kept the project visible on international charts over time.

This latest record adds to the growing list of global wins for Afrobeats and also reflects Nigeria’s rising influence in world music.

With “Rave & Roses” still holding its place years after release, African music continues to move forward with confidence and consistency.
