Ritah Dancehall Refuses To Extend Greetings to Parents During Live TV Appearance

While on Sanyuka TV’s Wardrobe, video vixen and backup dancer Ritah Dancehall chose not to extend greetings to her parents and discussed the challenges she encountered in her relationship with her mother.

She revealed that her mother disapproved of her career choice, often punishing her severely and even resorting to beatings when she sneaked out to dance at gigs during her school years.

Despite these difficulties, Ritah’s journey took a positive turn when she teamed up with Ziza Bafana.

With Bafana’s financial support and mentorship, she found the footing she needed to thrive as a dancer.

Reflecting on her experiences, Ritah feels fortunate in her career, noting that she has not faced major obstacles in the entertainment industry, largely thanks to her connection with an established musician who treated her well.

Ritah shared that her mother’s attitude began to change only after she started earning some money from her dancing gigs.

She further stressed that as her career blossomed, so did her mother’s acceptance of her chosen path.

Now, her mother not only supports her ambitions but also plays a significant role in making her wardrobe.
