Ritah Kaggwa Breaks Down Celebrity Marriages, Points Out Who is Ready and Who is Rushing
By Macona Brian
UK-based blogger Ritah Kaggwa is speaking out on Uganda’s hottest celebrity relationships, engagements, and marriages, and she is not holding back.
During an interview with Sanyuka Uncut, Ritah shared her honest opinions on who is doing love right and who might be moving too fast.
She started with Stella Nantumbwe, the former Miss Uganda, giving her full support.
Let me start with Ella. Honestly, I think it is the right time for her. She is of age, she looks ready, and emotionally mature. So yes, I fully support her decision to get married. It is the right season for her.
Then she turned her attention to Chosen Becky, pointing out a risky move in her love life.
Now about Chosen Becky. Yes, it is beautiful that she is found someone who makes her happy. That is something to celebrate. However, what I do not agree with is how she went about it. Changing your name to take on your man’s name before he has officially proposed or even introduced you to his family is a step too far. You never know; a man might leave tomorrow. You might end up with nothing but a name change and no ring.
Ritah also talked about Desire Luzinda, saying her choice to settle down may have been about more than age.
And then there is Desire Luzinda. People are saying what pushed her into settling down is that she is getting older. But honestly, if being beautiful and admired by many did not bring her peace before, maybe she finally realized that looks alone are not everything. Maybe she wanted something deeper, something more stable.
She wrapped up with advice for women, especially those in the spotlight, about being careful in love.
At the end of the day, love is a beautiful thing. But as women, and especially as public figures, we need to move with wisdom. Not every sweet word means commitment. Let us be careful how we give our hearts and our names.
