RK Himself Attempts to Break Longest Beatbox Marathon Record

Ugandan beatboxer RK Himself has set his sights on an ambitious milestone.

During an appearance on NBS After 5, he revealed that he is preparing to attempt the longest beatbox marathon under Guinness World Records.

The current individual beatboxing marathon record stands at 25 hours and 30 minutes, set by Peter Wehrmann in Germany on October 21, 2012.

RK Himself is targeting 26 hours of nonstop performance, aiming to surpass the long standing mark.

Having been in the beatboxing game for 13 years, he says this attempt is about testing his endurance on a global stage.

And if his energy allows, he plans to push beyond his target.

For the performer, the challenge is not only about breaking a record.

He says it is also about telling his story and representing his journey through beatboxing.
