Salongo Siraje Blasts Stecia Mayanja’s Political Ambitions: “Stay In Your Lane”

Salongo Siraje has called on singer-turned-politician Stecia Mayanja to reconsider her political ambitions and instead focus on preserving her public image.
Stecia recently stepped into the spotlight as President of the newly rebranded National Peasants Party (NPP), joining the growing list of Ugandan musicians who have ventured into politics.
However, Siraje remains unconvinced by her new direction.
Speaking in an interview with Sanyuka TV, he offered some blunt advice, stressing that Stecia is not suited for the demands of political life.
Stecia should focus on keeping her figure and leave politics alone. The political arena is a tough space that is not meant for everyone. It is not for the weak. She cannot handle tear gas.
The Kadongo Kamu artiste also used the moment to warn other musicians against diving into politics without fully understanding the challenges involved.
My advice to fellow musicians is simple, leave politics alone. Let us entertain and leave the political battles to those built for it.
