Salvador Calls Chameleone a Music ‘Demigod’ for His Ability to Evolve with the Times

Comedian Patrick Salvador could not hide his admiration for singer Jose Chameleone during a recent interview, describing him as a “demigod” for his ability to adapt to the ever-changing music scene.

He pointed out that the singer chose the perfect name, “Chameleone,” because of how seamlessly he blends into different eras and styles.

To further cement his point, Salvador highlighted Chameleone’s latest song with his son, Abba Marcus Mayanja.

The track showcases Chameleone’s signature voice, which he praised for blending perfectly with the modern Amapiano sound.

“Chameleone is built different,” he said, emphasizing that the singer’s ability to stay relevant and appeal to both young and old audiences is unmatched.

From the early 2000s, when his music became very popular across the country, to his recent releases that connect with younger generations, Jose Chameleone has remained a dominant force in Uganda’s music industry.

Celebrating 25 years of his career with a grand concert last year, the iconic singer continues to prove why he is one of Uganda’s greatest musical legends.
