Salvador Stands by Bebe Cool Amid Backlash Over Jay Z Choice
Ugandan comedian Patrick Salvador has stepped up for Bebe Cool after the veteran singer faced backlash for choosing Jay Z over local artistes on DJ AG Online during his UK media tour.
In a post on X, Salvador dismissed the criticism as “noise made by ignorant people” and urged fans to pause before passing judgment.
He wrote,
Sometimes let us take a moment to ask why people do the things they do before we impose what we want them to do that we believe is right. Respond with logic, not emotions.
Salvador’s defense echoes Bebe Cool’s own explanation that selecting Jay Z was a gesture to support DJ AG, who has consistently provided local and regional artistes with valuable opportunities.
