Sanyuka TV Celebrating a Decade of Ugandan Entertainment

For ten years, Sanyuka TV has been at the forefront of Uganda’s entertainment business, influencing the local media landscape with rich, authentic content that appeals to people across the country.
Sanyuka TV, a member of the Next Media family, has grown into a prominent mass-market and vernacular television station committed to providing high-quality entertainment, developing local talent, and engaging with the Ugandan community.
Sanyuka TV has transformed sports and entertainment broadcasting since 2015.
Initially acknowledged as the official broadcaster of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, it premiered local sports programming by introducing millions of fans to live football.
However, as Ugandan entertainment changed, so did Sanyuka TV. In October 2022, the channel rebranded itself with a focus on entertainment, culture and lifestyle.
This change resulted in a variety of new shows and improved production values, turning Sanyuka TV into a vibrant entertainment center that still attracts viewers nationwide.

These include Uncut Sabula, Morning Xpress, Music Jam – Tunnyuke, and Bigenda Bitya, have grown to be favorites among viewers.

The Sanyuka Naffe campaign, which features performances by local musicians, let fans interact with their favorite artistes while also offering a platform for hidden talent.
