Selecta Jef Rallies Musicians to Back Bebe Cool’s Global Push
Ugandan DJ Selecta Jef has fired back at critics dismissing Bebe Cool’s latest album Break The Chains and its rollout.

He stressed that the bigger goal should be pushing Ugandan music onto the global stage, something he says requires unity above all else.

Jef also warned that personal rivalries and envy are holding the industry back.
Many of you feel like, ‘I should be the one doing that’ but you are not doing it right now, and we all know why. It is a bit hard and expensive to pull off.
He closed with a rallying message, urging musicians to back Bebe Cool’s efforts.
Pick up your swords, get behind Rasta, and help him kick that door down so it is easier for you and for generations to come. Mwebale Nyo…
