Selecta Jef Urges DJs and Artistes to Collaborate for Global Breakthrough

Selecta Jef is urging a more collaborative approach within the music industry, pointing out that when an artiste rises, their success has the potential to uplift everyone around them.

In a recent post on X, the DJ emphasized the mutual benefits between artistes and the teams that support them, especially when aiming for international recognition.

He stressed that artistes need backing from DJs in order to grow globally, just as DJs depend on artists reaching their full potential.

This relationship, he explained, creates room for both sides to build stronger brands and move forward together.

Jef also broke down how success at the top can create opportunities for many.

Once an artiste begins touring, there is a need for a full team that includes a DJ, content creators, dancers, and more.

That ripple effect, he suggested, can put food on several tables, all stemming from the rise of one talent.

They gonna need a team to tour with, that team consists of a DJ, content creator, dancers & so on… You see how many mouths can be fed by one artiste’s success? I mean, think about it.

The post follows an interview on NBS After 5, where he claimed that it is easier for DJs to make it internationally than it is for musicians.
