Seyi Shay has revealed the shocking reason behind her long feud with Tiwa Savage.
The singer said the drama began because of her former personal assistant, who was secretly involved with Tiwa’s then-husband, Tunji Balogun, also known as TBillz.
Seyi said she had no idea about the affair at the time, but Tiwa likely believed she did and took it as betrayal.
The misunderstanding sparked years of tension between the two stars.
Years later, while in London, Seyi ran into her former assistant, who confessed everything and apologized. That was when the truth finally came out.
The “Right Now” hitmaker said she felt disgusted by the revelation and could understand why Tiwa was upset.
“If that was me, I would have done worse,” she admitted.
Seyi shared the story on the Offair Show, calling it one of the most painful experiences of her career.
