Shakib Vows to Quit Boxing If Barista Timo Beats Him
Shakib Cham Lutaaya is leaving nothing to chance ahead of his upcoming celebrity boxing showdown with TikTok star Barista Timo.
The two will face off on April 11, 2026, at the International University of East Africa Auditorium during a corporate boxing event meant to settle their social media rivalry.
Shakib heads into the fight after losing to singer Rickman Manrick, a defeat that caused many fans to doubt his chances this time.
However, the city socialite and business man insists he will not lose again.
To show just how confident he is, he revealed while appearing on Sanyuka Uncut that he will put one of his cars on the line.
I am never losing again in the sport of boxing. To show you that I am serious, I have put one of my two cars up. Timo’s team will pick the one they want. They will park it either at the venue of the fight or anywhere they choose.
You might wonder which cars he is talking about.
Well, Shakib said he is willing to sacrifice either his Jeep Wrangler or his Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the choice will be up to Timo.
I have two cars that I am willing to sacrifice. One is a Jeep Wrangler and the other is a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both cars are reputable. He will pick one of the two. If he beats me, he will take it and I will even complete the transfer process for him.
He added that he will walk away from boxing completely if he loses the bout.
If Timo beats me, I will never talk about boxing again. I will not comment on boxing and I will not challenge anyone ever again. A rematch will also not happen. If Timo beats me, I will not organize boxing events again. I will just leave the sport for good.
