Shakib Targeted in Sh5m Blackmail Scheme

Ugandan socialite Shakib has found himself at the center of a shocking blackmail scandal involving two women, Shantel and Princess, who allegedly attempted to extort him using private content taken from his home.
According to Shakib, the issue began when his friend OJ, whom he was hosting, invited the women to his house without his knowledge.
Shakib, who values his privacy, instructed his friend to handle the situation, saying, “I do not like guests in my house. These women could easily take pictures and cause trouble.”
However, the situation worsened the following morning when Shakib received a phone call informing him that a woman was posting photos of his home and cars online.
“I have an image to protect. I do not even know who these women are,” Shakib stated.
The matter escalated when Shantel and Princess reportedly contacted Shakib, demanding UGX 5 million to stay silent.
They allegedly threatened to leak more pictures and videos if he failed to pay.
“They said, ‘Pay or we ruin you,’” Shakib revealed.
Shakib denies any connection to the women and believes the incident was a calculated setup aimed at damaging his reputation.
The scandal has gone viral online, with many calling for action against digital extortion.
