Contrary to what many believed, singer Nandor Love, born Dorcus Tendo Nantume, was not signed to Jeff Kiwa’s Team No Sleep (TNS).
She clarified in a media interview, saying, “I was under Red Zone. We used to just partner with TNS.”
She also revealed that Jeff Kiwa is a close friend who used to share valuable tips to help refine her craft and go about the music business.
In addition to being a successful singer with hits like “Kinawolovu,” “Mpologoma,” and “Mbalasi,” Nandor is also an accomplished songwriter.
She disclosed that she has written songs for several artistes, including Carol Nantongo’s “Solome,” Big Eye’s “Mikono Ju,” Zafaran’s “Otulo,” and Warafiki’s “No Money No Love” and “Ntagala.”
However, not all the stars she has wriiten for credit her for works.
Last year, the rising singer expressed her dissatisfaction with Big Eye Starboss over not crediting her for her contribution to his song “Mikono Ju.”
She revealed that during an interview, Big Eye was directly asked about the person behind the lyrics of the song.
Instead of crediting her, he credited one of his team members, completely ignoring her involvement, which left her disappointed.
To ensure she receives proper recognition moving forward, Nandor Love plans to make her songwriting credits publicly available on the internet.
