Sheebah Backs Halima Namakula’s Concert by Buying Tickets for Fans

Sheebah Karungi is showing strong support for veteran singer Halima Kalungi, popularly known as Halima Namakula.

As you may know, Halima Namakula is preparing for her upcoming concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel on July 26.

At the event’s press conference, Ritah Dancehall, a representative of Sheebah Karungi, announced that Sheebah had purchased tickets to enable her fanbase to attend Halima Namakula’s show.

In an emotional response, Halima expressed her gratitude to Sheebah for standing with her during this important time and for supporting her fans with the tickets.

She said, “My love, thank you so, so much. I know you will not be there in person, but you’ve been that corner for me, even from another country, and I don’t mind that at all.”

Halima also praised Sheebah for supporting fellow artistes, including herself, despite having her own concert planned in the coming months.

Before the press conference, Sheebah took to social media to urge her fans, the Sheebaholics, to support this veteran in the music industry.

She described Halima as a mother figure in the industry and highlighted how Halima has always supported her shows.

Sheebah pledged to buy tickets worth one million Ugandan shillings and appears to have fulfilled that promise.

Halima Namakula will celebrate 50 years in the creative arts and 25 years in humanitarian work on July 26 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
