Sheebah Distances Herself from Politics Ahead of Serena Concert
With just weeks to go until her big concert at Serena Kampala Hotel on August 22, Sheebah Karungi is making it clear that she is staying far away from politics.
During a press conference held at the same venue, she addressed questions about musicians diving into the political arena.
The “Twesana” hit-maker had no shade for those who have made the leap.
I have seen artistes who have shown their political sides and I think it is absolutely going well for them.
However, do not expect her to follow suit, as she is not trying to be anything she is not.
I am going to say this again. I am not a politician. I am a humanitarian. I am feminist. I love to do the right thing.
Sheebah was refreshingly honest about why politics simply is not her lane.
To be honest, politics is not a game that I understand so much. So, I prefer not to speak about things I do not understand that much.
As for what fans can expect? A fierce, unapologetic performance from an artiste who knows exactly who she is, and what she is not.
