Sheila Gashumba Slams Police Over Priorities, Urges Focus on Serious Crime
Kampala media star Sheila Gashumba is making waves with her latest criticism of the Uganda Police Force.
The self-described socialist slammed authorities for focusing on “pointless TikTok drama” instead of going after serious criminals.
Her remarks came after the arrest of TikTok personality Shalom, which she called a clear misstep.
Gashumba argued that the people who truly belong behind bars are still roaming the streets.

She urged the police to “do better” and prioritize the safety of ordinary Ugandans.
According to Gashumba, policing social media conflicts is not enough.
Protecting citizens from real dangers, she said, should be law enforcement’s top priority.
