Should Relationships Be 50/50? Jowy Landa Thinks Not
In today’s world, many people believe relationships should be 50/50.
Some even think it is fine for women to support their men if they earn more.
However, not everyone agrees with this modern outlook.
Ugandan singer Jowy Landa, whose real name is Joan Namugerwa, seems to disagree.
She recently wrote on X: “Whether she has her own money or not, a man’s job is to provide.”
To Jowy, a man’s responsibility to provide does not change, no matter how much his partner earns or owns.
Interestingly, this statement somewhat contradicts her previous views on women giving men money.
