Simi’s Manager Dismisses Divorce Rumours With Adekunle Gold

Rumours about the marriage of Nigerian singer Simi and her husband Adekunle Gold have been dismissed by the singer’s management.

The speculation started after a document circulating on social media claimed the couple had filed for divorce and that their marriage had broken down.

However, Simi’s manager, Vincent, said the document is fake.

He explained that the filing used stage names instead of legal names, which are required in official court documents.

He also pointed out that the suit number on the document appeared backdated, raising further doubts about its authenticity.

It is fake and fabricated. First, stage names are not tenable in any court of justice worldwide, as indicated in the document. Even the suit number on the document is backdated to 2024 (SUIT NO HCL/FC/2024/0178).

The manager’s response has helped calm fans who reacted to the rumour online.

Simi and Adekunle Gold, popularly known as AG Baby, are among the most admired couples in Nigeria’s music industry.

Their relationship has often attracted strong interest from fans on social media.
