Simon Guobadia Details Why He Regrets Wedding Porsha Williams
Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia says he regrets marrying Porsha Williams.
In a June 2025 interview with Page Six, Guobadia said he was targeted for financial reasons and described the 15 month marriage as a mistake.
He claimed the relationship moved too quickly, with an engagement happening within 30 days, and said the divorce filing caught him off guard.
Guobadia pointed to the court ordered $40,000 monthly temporary support and disputed issues surrounding gifts retained under their prenuptial agreement.
He has appealed aspects of the prenup ruling after losing at the Georgia Court of Appeals, with a petition to the state Supreme Court pending.
Williams has maintained that the marriage became difficult due to undisclosed issues involving Guobadia’s immigration status and past.
The former couple’s split continues to draw attention as both sides stand by their claims.
