Singer Alimpa Ronald Says He Is Facing Life Threats And Impersonation
Ugandan musician Alimpa Ronald has raised serious concerns about his safety, revealing that there are people in his line of work who want to end his life.
Speaking to media, the “Wansi” singer stated that those people know him, and he knows them well enough to identify them.
Alimpa expressed that if he were to lose his life suddenly, he hopes his fans and Ugandans would act with force against those identified as responsible.
Alimpa also pointed out that none of the individuals who want him gone have ambitions similar to his and that is why he does not want them to play with his life.
He emphasized that the only person in Uganda with ambitions like his is Bobi Wine.
In addition to the threats, Alimpa highlighted an issue of impersonation. He explained that a man in Makindye is using his name to scam and cheat people.
This impersonator, who reportedly has a manager, has defrauded many people, creating numerous problems for him, the real Alimpa Ronald.
He explained that he frequently receives phone calls from people who are angry and accusing him of actions he is unaware of, all because of the impersonator using his name.
Despite the fear for his life, Alimpa mentioned that he is working on a solution to deal with the impersonator.
The singer went on to say that while those who think he is drunk or using drugs are entitled to their opinions, he is confident that there are others who know he is neither and believe in him.
