Singer Dr. Lover Bowy Says TikTokers Need Him More Than He Needs Them

In the age of social media, the relationship between musicians and TikTokers has become a key factor in determining a song’s success.

TikTokers create viral challenges and dances that often boost the popularity of tracks, while musicians provide the original content that fuels these trends.

This raises an interesting question: who depends more on whom?

Rising singer Dr. Lover Bowy shared his thoughts on this dynamic during a recent appearance on Rewind, making it clear that, as a musician, he sees himself as the backbone of the process.

Of course they need me, because if I do not sing, what will they use to do challenges?

He went on to break down just how much time and money goes into creating the very music that fuels TikTok trends.

I know I am a musician, and I invest in myself. It is just that some people see me out there and think I do not. I get 3 million and shoot a music video. Then I get 1 million and invest in producing the song that the TikToker wants to dance to.

Because of that, he feels TikTokers should respect the effort he puts in.

So how can a TikToker then belittle me? It is impossible.
