Singer Sqoop Larma Faces Assault Charges, Police Confirm

The Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, has confirmed that a case has been filed against musician Sqoop Larma.

The complaint was made by Tumwesigye Emmanuel, who accused the artiste of assault.

According to Onyango, Tumwesigye reported the incident at Bakuli Police Station, claiming that he sustained injuries during the altercation.

However, the police are still waiting for an official statement from Tumwesigye in order to proceed with their investigation.

Onyango urged Tumwesigye to return to the station, provide a statement, and complete a medical form to support the progress of the case.

Addressing the music community, Onyango urged musicians to avoid all forms of violence and encouraged them to resolve conflicts with respect and professionalism.
