Sir Aludah Praises Regional Breakthrough for Ugandan DJs

Sir Aludah is shining a light on how far Ugandan DJs have come.

In a post shared on X, the veteran DJ reflected on a time when breaking into Kenya felt out of reach for many local selectors.

He said there was a period when Ugandan DJs could barely access major DJ booths across the border.

Today, however, the narrative is different.

He shared that he feels proud whenever he sees a Ugandan DJ featured on event posters in Kenya, describing it as clear proof of growth and increasing regional recognition.

According to Sir Aludah, these are small but meaningful wins, and he remains hopeful that even bigger milestones lie ahead.

Reacting to the post, fellow DJ Selecta Jeff quoted it and thanked him for showing the younger generation that breaking into regional markets is achievable.
