Sophie Nantongo Still Does Not Know Who Gloria Bugie Is, Asks If It’s a Made-Up Name
Veteran singer Sophie Nantongo has once again expressed that she does not know rising singer Gloria Bugie, despite previously stating she would look into who she is.
Asked if she had finally gotten to know Gloria Bugie, Sophie responded with a surprised, “Who?” and followed it up with, “Are you making up that name?”
Her reaction left many wondering whether she had forgotten her earlier promise to do a background check on the young artiste.
When the question was pressed further, asking whether she had taken time to find out more about Gloria, Sophie admitted that she had not had the chance to do so.
She explained that her busy schedule and ongoing preparations for her upcoming concert had taken up most of her time, leaving little room for anything else.
Still, Sophie left the door slightly open by adding, “If she is truly a musician, I will eventually get to know her. Musicians do not need to be searched for. People naturally get to know them with time.”
