Spice Diana Admits Fear Is Holding Her Back from Politics

Spice Diana has opened up about the idea of joining politics but admits fear is still holding her back.

In a recent video, the singer, born Namukwaya Hajara Diana, said Uganda’s political environment scares her despite many people encouraging her to take on a leadership role.

Many people advise me to join politics, but I fear the politics of Uganda today because it can be scary.

She also said the violence often seen in politics worries her.

I fear being beaten. I fear tear gas… and I am also not yet a mother.

Even so, Spice Diana said she still finds ways to support people through her music and charity work.

I love serving, helping, and supporting people because I know what the common person goes through.

Still, she did not completely close the door on leadership.

If God wishes, one day I will join because authority comes from God. But for now, I still fear.
