Spice Diana Urges Artistes to Mind Their Conduct This Election Season

As Uganda heads toward election day, singer Spice Diana has urged musicians to behave responsibly.

Speaking on Sanyuka Uncut, the “Award” hitmaker urged artistes to focus on their music and avoid political tension that could put their lives at risk.

According to her, musicians work for the people, and no election period is worth violence, chaos, or loss of life.

Musicians should Keep peace and do their job. As musicians, singing is our job. But all in all, remember we sing for people so we need them alive and thats it. Also behaving themselves as human beings such that we enter the new year alive.

Spice Diana’s comments come at a time when political activity is increasing across the country, with many musicians appearing at campaign rallies.

For her, staying alive, acting responsibly, and choosing peace matter just as much, if not more, than politics.

Uganda will hold general elections on January 15, 2026, to elect the President and Members of Parliament.
