Stay True and Consistent, Ceaserous Advises Fellow Artistes
Ugandan singer Ceaserous, born Solomon Sentengo, has looked back on his time in the music industry and shared some of the lessons he has learned along the way.
The “Dangerous” hitmaker says that above everything else, the most important lesson is to stay true to yourself and remain consistent.
Speaking on Next Radio, he explained why authenticity matters.
Lessons are many. Stay true to yourself. The fanbase gets to you for a reason because they understand you are giving out something that is more or less significant and also outstanding. So, if you deviate from that and then try to go different ways that is not good. And also, stay consistent.
Ceaserous believes fans connect with originality, and once an artiste strays from that, it becomes difficult to maintain their loyalty.
He adds that while ambition drives progress, authenticity and consistency are the real foundation of a lasting career in a music industry where trends are constantly changing.
