He emphasized that everyone has their own path in life, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach, especially when it comes to marriage.
Gashumba pointed out that people should not feel pressured to marry at a certain age.
Whether it is at 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, or even 60, people should feel free to marry at the stage in life that feels right for them.
He also highlighted that some individuals are perfectly content being single and living fulfilling lives without marriage.
“I believe it is better to live a happy life while single than to live a troubled life while married,” he stressed.
Gashumba encouraged people to stop letting society dictate their personal choices.
He urged everyone to live according to what makes them happy, as long as their choices do not harm or inconvenience others.
