Suspekt Leizor Gives Kapeke Props, But Keeps Collaboration Doors Closed

While appearing on Galaxy TV, Suspekt Leizor praised Joshua Baraka, Sheebah, Lydia Jazmine, and Kapeke as artistes who are doing exceptionally well in the music industry.

However, when asked about the possibility of working with Kapeke, the “Nakolamu” singer appeared less interested, despite acknowledging his talent.

The truth is, I do not just wake up and do collaborations. Ever since I started singing, I have only done one.

In an industry where features and joint projects are often the norm, Leizor made it clear that he operates on his own terms.

I only collaborate with people who are close friends. In life, I do not force things. For someone to be my friend, there has to be mutual understanding.

And for anyone assuming he might jump on a collaboration for attention or reach, he had a word for that too.

I have never begged for a collaboration and never will. I believe in myself. Even the collaborations I do are on a friendship basis, but I never beg for them.

Suspekt Leizor also revealed that he has turned down several offers to collaborate, though he did not name names.
